Qualificationsand requirements:

·         M.L.I.S. (Masters in Library & Information Science) or equivalent degree and Additional qualifications in IT will be preferred
·         Library management
·         Ability to create internal newsletters/bulletins and handling daily newsletters
·         Carry out online publishing, maintaining tools for Information services, Intranet site maintenance
·         Ability to understand the Scientists' area of interest and set-up alerts
·         The candidate is expected to be well versed with computers, Internet and library software's/tools
·         Excellent communication skills
·         Good customer service skills and analytical skills
·         Ability to apply existing and emerging technologies to new initiatives and improve library services
·         Ability to work both independently and in a team
·         Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple deadlines without losing focus on quality
·         Keen learner & Pro-active

Required Experience: 0-2 Years

Functional Area: Knowledge Centre/Library
